The U.S. Veterans Treatment Discount Program is headquartered in Colorado, home to nearly 500,000 Veterans.
The mission of the program is:
- Help raise Veteran awareness of the alternatives available to them outside of the VA healthcare system through the establishment of TheBodyIsMind™ Ultimate Healing Guide.
- Establish a coalition or network of alternative treatment facilities that can offer 30%, 50%, and 100% discounts to U.S. Veterans. We intend to help create multi-facility package deals as part of a multi-modal approach to healing and wellness. For instance, Floatation + Yoga + Cryotherapy.
- Build an Alternative Therapy Facility Directory so Veterans know where to find these discounts. We’ve targeted 250 facilities around Denver, and you can see these on a map over on the Alternative Facilities Denver Directory page of this website.
We’re getting 50% Veteran discounts from Float Spas, Yoga Studios, and more… just by asking; 1 out of 3 facility owners are saying “yes,” and making it easier for Veterans to afford these alternatives.
Vet-Friendly Alternative Treatments in Colorado
Alternative treatment facilities around Denver and extending into Colorado Springs are starting to offer heavily discounted or limited FREE services to combat veterans who qualify. Availability is restricted and treatment offerings are managed through an application and selection system which weighs each case against the provider clinician’s estimate of their power of agency with each patient.
TheBodyIsMind is working to establish networks of service providers who can manage a limited number of veterans who suffer from wartime induced chronic pain or PTSD. Treatment options currently include facilities which are offering Floatation Therapy, Contrast Hydrotherapy, Neurofeedback, Biofeedback, Traditional Physical Therapy, Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, and more!
Multi-modal therapies will be offered to individuals at aggressively steep discounts for those who are able to make a commitment. Many clinicians and therapy facilities even offer FREE or pro bono services.
Veteran and Facility Participation
We are actively recruiting both Veterans and facililties around the greater Denver area of Colorado. If you are a veteran or alternative facility owner and you’d like to be included in this program, please send an email to helpingveterans@thebodyismind.com and we will contact you directly.

The Colorado Veteran’s Resource Portal was built with veterans in mind by both veterans and civilians working together. The idea, main design, and execution can be credited to the hard work of the volunteers at Veteran’s Passport To Hope (VP2H). Guidance and input from veterans was taken into account and we’ve created this site, which, we hope, will help veterans in the state of Colorado.
This website focuses on listing resources that are available to veterans 100% free of charge.
The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus provides confidential, high-quality behavioral health care services, case management and connection to local resources at low to no cost and without long wait times to post-9/11 veterans, including National Guard and Reserves, and their families including spouse, partner, children, parents, siblings, caregivers and active duty families.
